Curriculum and Instructional Consulting

In this program, students are required to carry out theoretical exploration and practical study of curriculum and instruction and acquire consulting-expertise for curriculum and instruction that can be put to practice in school and in the classroom. The coursework is designed for educators who want to enhance specialized skills and valuable expertise in instructional theory and practice, curriculum development, and consulting of curriculum and instruction.

  • Design and Development of Learner-centered Instructional Design : Based on constructivist educational theory, it aims to cultivate an attitude to increase the effectiveness, efficiency, and attractiveness of classes through systematic exploration of learner-centered instructional design and development that enhances learners' self-directed learning skills such as action learning and PBL.
  • Consulting on Blended Learning : It aims to improve the effectiveness of instruction and learning through a systematic exploration of blended learning (mixed learning) that integrates the advantages and disadvantages of online cyber learning using advanced technologies such as e-learning and offline learning centered on face-to-face classroom instruction.
  • New Media and Educational Technology : It examines the characteristics and types of new media such as online learning platforms, smart learning, and virtual augmented reality, and systematically discusses ways to implement effective teaching and learning using new media technology.

  • Consulting on Concept-Based Curriculum Development : By exploring the curriculum development method that focuses on concept and generalization, and performing unit-level curriculum restructuring, we cultivate expertise and consulting capabilities for concept-based curriculum development.
  • Consulting on Development of Integrated Curriculum : It aims to increase leadership in school curriculum development by increasing the ability of design methods, development procedures, x-x-evaluation methods, and leadership necessary for the development of integrated subjects, STEAM, subject-oriented and project-based curriculum at the elementary school and classroom level.
  • Curriculum Leadership and Consulting : Curriculum leadership and curriculum consulting capabilities are cultivated by consulting on school curriculum and classes based on understanding topics such as changing social and school education directions, curriculum and class innovation, teachers' curriculum leadership, and curriculum consulting.
