Brain Based Special Physical Education

Student Goals

  • Under the Ministry of Health and Welfare, It trains experts who improve the function, motor functions and developmental abilities of disabled children in growth period based on brain development by completing a curriculum for the psychomotricians certification in developmental rehabilitation services.
  • It develops capabilities available for special sports field training education through convergence education with neighboring disciplines and interdisciplinary research such as pure sports science, special education and brain-based education and interdisciplinary research.
  • It fosters the qualifications of teachers with brain-based special sports skills and practical guidance skills.
  • It fosters personality and ability to demonstrate their capabilities as experts or leaders in the fields of special physical education tailored to target and age such as infants, elementary school students etc. and social sports.

Qualification requirements for developmental rehabilitation services (open psychological exercise service center) are granted when more than seven courses (21 credits) are completed.

Online Courses

Taking advantage of the characteristics of brain-based special sports majors, all courses will be developed to enable remote education lectures for students who are far away or who are unable to take classes at night and in seasonal classes.
