Master’s Programs

Student Goals

  • To develop knowledge of science and acquire the ability to preform experiments which are necessary for elementary science educational activities.
  • To cultivate the ability to understand and apply theories that are needed for the interpretation of elementary science educational issues, and for effective instruction in the classroom.
  • To develop the ability to examine science education related problems in the school setting, and share the solutions to those problems.

Extra-curricular Activities

  • Experts in the field will be invited from within Korea and abroad to lecture on new trends in science education.
  • Elementary Science Education Seminar is held once per semester.
  • Attendance at the Korean Association of Elementary Science Education and participation in professional activities such as presentations, once per semester.
  • Plans to encourage laboratory-based seminars and workshop activities.
  • Plans to strengthen field trips for each field of study.
