Full-day Elementary School Instructor Education

This program aims to foster full-day elementary school instructors with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in the field, such as running a play and activity-based curriculum and organizing an emotionally supportive environment, developing and x-evaluating teaching media and materials, and understanding educational administration and policy. The coursework focuses on developing the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to equip full-day school instructors with the expertise to provide quality care and education.

  • Operation and x-evaluation of Curriculum for Full-day Elementary School : This course has been designed to assist students in developing a comprehensive theoretical understanding of the purpose, characteristics and operating model of full-day Neulbom school education. It also covers how the curriculum is designed and implemented in the subject areas of culture and arts, emotional and mental health, creativity and science, climate and environment, and physical education. The course develops the ability to effectively operate and x-evaluate the curriculum by analysing the success factors of the full-day Neulbom school curriculum.
  • Instruction for Children’s Play : Based on the understanding of play with elementary school children, the course explores the educational environment and curriculum composition on play and activities at full-day Neulbom school programs and develop the teacher's ability to guide children's play.

  • Educational Policy for Full-day Elementary School : Based on the theoretical basis of full-day Neulbom school education policy and international after-school cases, this course will help students understand the impact of school education policy on the education system and school operation, and analyze the relationship between educational policies and full-day school practices in Korean society.
  • Professional Learning Community and Educational Research : This course deals with the meaning, purpose, and value of the learning community and helps students to cultivate the ability to conduct educational research by operating a cooperative professional learning community to strengthen full-day Neulbom school teacher professionalism, focusing on the various educational practices.

  • Introduction to Full-day Elementary School Education : This course builds on a basic understanding of the concept of an full-day Neulbom school and explores how educational programs are designed and implemented in the subject areas of arts and culture, emotional and mental health, creative and scientific, climate and environment, and physical education. Students will gain a basic knowledge of the goals and program development of Neulbom school.
  • Educational Research Methodology : Through a basic understanding of research methods, students will develop the ability to plan and conduct field-based research.

  • Development of Instructional Media for Full-day Elementary School : This course explores effective ways to develop and utilize various teaching media and educational materials for full-day Neulbom school programs, and develops the ability to x-evaluate developed teaching media and materials.
  • Case Study of Educational field for Full-day Elementary School : By understanding and acquiring the concepts, theories, and methodologies of case studies, students will develop the ability to plan and conduct case studies related to full-day Neulbom school education, and develop practical research skills to analyze and present research findings.
